Our customers know that quality and freshness go hand in hand. The sooner the fruit reaches you, the higher the quality. At Pieter's Appleyard, you do your own picking.

You can't get fruit fresher than that!

Because you pick your own fruit at Pieter's Appleyard, you know your basket contains only the very best fruit from top to bottom.

Our farm is open Daily in September and October for pick your own; we do not charge an entrance fee; quite the opposite, if people after having picked their favourite apples want to dwell a little longer in the farm they can make use of benches or picnic tables to enjoy their brought lunch. So, come as a family and cherish some quality time.

Cider:
We produce fresh cider weekly from our own apples. Cider is sold in 2-liter and 4-liter bottles or per liter to home wine makers.

Cider is made weekly; we do not add preservatives and make the cider from apples directly off the trees. It comes in 2 or 4 liter bottles. Wine makers can order by the liter and can give us their preference as to the make-up of the apple varieties.

School Tours:
A special education program is offered to primary school children in a lighthearted manner. Topics include apple varieties, insects on the farm, cider making and apple picking.
